DVD: A sample of Mozart’s prodigious output
The Salzburg Festival last summer celebrated Mozart’s 250th birthday by presenting all 22 of the composer’s operas, from juvenilia including Apollo et Hyacinthus and La finta semplice to Die Zauberflöte and La clemenza di Tito. Now, all 22 productions are being issued on DVD.
