The man shot to death by an off-duty King County sheriff’s sergeant this past weekend had a criminal record going back to his early teens and was long barred from owning a handgun.

O’Conner Law Corp. of Renton has purchased the 382-unit Madison At Fairwood apartment complex in Renton for $33.5 million or $87,696 a unit from Granite Madison Apartments, LLC of Irvine, Calif., according to a news release from Hendricks & Partners.
